AB 2019 reflection and 2020 plans

As we bid farewell to 2019,  it’s been an exciting year for Alexandre Boyes. We celebrated our 21st birthday in August. Ashleigh and Ally from our East Grinstead office became qualified ARLA members.  Keren, Head of Estate & Block Management, qualified in Build to Rent management, a trend that is unlikely to slow in 2020. Our Tunbridge Wells office successfully let and manage the first Build to Rent portfolio in Tunbridge Wells back in 2018,  and we continue to work with developers and owners in this growing sector of the industry. 

2019 has been a year under the spotlight for the property industry. We have seen legalisation changes to tackle rouge landlords, energy efficiency and Tenant fee fairness to mention a few. 2020  will see continued efforts by the Government and our industry’s governing bodies to raise standards, transparency and improve housing conditions. AB are embracing these changes and are pleased to be offering Tenants a Deposit Replacement Scheme in the New Year. AB are also excited to launch the Alexandre Boyes Foundation; we hope to make donations towards education in local schools, health services and climate change. The National Design Guide, published 1st October 2019, highlighted the need to construct eco-friendly, sustainable and efficient homes. AB now manage in excess of 2500 properties and continue to see an increase in home efficiency enquiries across the board. As a company AB will be looking at how we can help climate change in 2020.

AB opened its doors 21 years ago solely as a sales agent. We  now specialise in Residential Sales, Lettings, Estate and Block Management and Property Maintenance with teams regulated and trained by bodies such as ARLA and RICS. We look forward to helping with your sales, lettings and estate management business in 2020.
