Alexandre Boyes Ukraine Aid Campaign

In our March 2022 newsletter we asked subscribers to help support our Ukraine Aid Campaign and Ukraine refugees by donating unwanted essential items. Donators dropped bags and boxes of items to our Tunbridge Wells office. From there Jon Burrough, from our sister company Resident, loaded up and headed off to the drop off centre in Jarvis Brook.

Jon met a remarkable lady who runs the Parish Hall at the church who is connected via friends and family to some amazing Polish people with a distribution centre in Newhaven. This is where your donations ended up before leaving our shores. From there the people in Newhaven link up with a school community near the Polish/Ukrainian border where all the donations are delivered all the way back from Newhaven. Refugees who arrive over the border to relative safety then collect what they need from the school. Essentially the school continually informs the Newhaven distribution centre what they most need and these items are prioritised for dispatch.

The Alexandre Boyes office has stopped taking donated goods but we wanted to say a huge sincere thank you to all those that donated and supporting our Ukraine Aid Campaign. There are certainly more ways to continue to help those affected by this humanitarian crisis. Here are just a few useful links: –
